A resident of Puttur Taluk of Dakshina Kannada District of Karnataka state is the connoisseur of treating patients afflicted with various types of animal poison especially that of snake and other reptiles for more than 25 years. Dr. Aithal has been treating gangrene patients for more than 25 years.<\/p>

Majority of the patients approaching him are the ones who have taken treatment from famous private and government hospitals where different treatment were adopted such as grafting, dressings and amputation without any progress in their conditions. He has earned several awards from organizations, who have recognized his service to public.<\/p>
